Willow’s simple Spring style in vintage, Acne & Balenciaga at Brick Lane’s Sunday UpMarket.
North Londoner Willow Laybourne, who sells vintage clothes on Camden Passage in Angel, was snapped shopping for vintage goodies in Sunday UpMarket at The Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. Her simple Spring style consists of a vintage dress, Loaf ‘love’ bag, Balenciaga sunglasses and Acne boots. See more of Willow’s vibrant street style.
After days of suspense London finally had snow, so armed with wellies and a storage box lid come sledge, we went to investigate.
After days of suspense London finally has snow, so armed with wellies and a storage box lid come sledge, we went to investigate. Here’s Ro Greene in her enviable vintage fuscia pink snowsuit with a Fuudhood detachable hood and feather hair extension from her own range at Feather Ray, making the most of the white stuff in Whitechapel, East London.
I accosted this well turned out couple in Camden Passage in Angel, Cynthia Mirhej from Lebanon and Win Saikayasit from Thailand. Cynthia wears woolen jacket with an oversized double collar by Tulle, her mum’s label, a generous helping of black lace in a wrap around skirt, also by her mum, Italian shoes and vintage glasses. Understated Win wears T shirt from Brick Lane market, cotton bomber jacket from American Apparel and throws some smart rolled up cotton trousers from Thailand into the mix.
Looking effortlessly sleek in floral print knee-patch leggings and white t-shirt with a wide pleated collar on her over-size coat, Kai Kyungah Min, on a visit to Brick Lane, was shopping for clothing by new British designers to take back home to New York.
There’s no need for bold colours to be eye catching; the petite and very modest Geraldine stood out amongst the busy shoppers and boozers in the Old Truman Brewery in shades of beige, with a chunky knit cardigan from Gap, bag, scarf, shoes and tapered chino trousers all from Zara, highlighted by a hair piece from Spitalfields Market.
