Jessie Ware’s new music gets us all sing-in-the-shower sensual with big style & hair to match.
[dropcap]J[/dropcap]essie Ware’s hybrid of R&B, Disco and Electro gets us feeling all sing-in-the-shower sensual, and she has the slick style and big hair to match. After working with the likes of Jack Penate, SBTRKT and Katy B, the Brixton based singer has made it solo in the pop world and is billed for London’s Wireless festival at the Olympic Park this July. She’s also made an impression on the fashion world and can be seen FROW-ing with her signature big bun at London Fashion Week. Stylist Levi Ibrahim snapped in the shopping, eating and music hub of South London in buzzing Brixton town.
Brixton is buzzing right now, with an abundance of live music venues such as Brixton Jamm, Electric Brixton and Brixton Academy, (it’s so good they put it in every venue name), as well as boutiques and eateries in the pandoras box that is Brixton Village. The high street, markets and generously sized Traid store attract shoppers such as Stylist Levi Ibrahim, pictured on Coldharbour Lane. She wears t-shirt H&M, Levi’s denim cut-off shorts from Camden market, sunglasses from Brick Lane, earrings Miss Selfridge, Chockers shoes and Louis Vuitton bag.
