Street Style: Sidsel Löyche’s Jeffrey Campbell Platforms

Chasing Sidsel down the road whilst she strides elegantly in her huge Jeffrey Campbell platforms.

[dropcap]I[/dropcap] had to chase Sidsel Löyche down the street to get her attention, all the while amazed that this blonde pixie Goddess could walk so fast and elegantly in those gorgeous Jeffrey Campbell wooden platforms. Sidsel is from Sweden but lives in Shoreditch and works for Joy clothing. She’s pictured on Brushfield Street by Spitalfields Market and wears a vintage maxi dress, pea green tights and ankle socks from Topshop, belt and bag from her Mum in Sweden, and THOSE Jeffrey Campbell snakeskin print shoes.

Street Style: Rainy Day Wear in Notting Hill

Dr Martens in Portobello Road market.

Hira Hassing, Notting Hill We were promised snow in London this morning, but so far only drizzle & obscenely low temperatures. This hasn’t stopped student Hira Hassing demonstrating how to look good AND stay dry. Hira, pictured on Portobello Road in Notting Hill, wears a leather jacket from Hong Kong, Topshop dress, puddle-proof Dr Marten boots and a bag from Amsterdam, finished off with a clear umbrella from Portobello market.

Vivienne Westwood & A Child Of The Jago in Shoreditch

Riding down Great Eastern Street in Shoreditch I came across Rachel and Karlie who were looking after menswear shop A Child of the Jago. The shop is a feast for the eyes in itself with a gothic feel harking back to Victorian East London, and I’m told they will be branching out into women’s wear in 2013. Rachel Smith (right) wears a vintage leather jacket (only £7!), blouse from Topshop concessions, jodhpurs from a riding shop and cardigan and brogues from Topshop. Karlie Shelley, (left) who’s currently designing her own clothes line, wears a metre of navy blue boucle fabric as a shawl from a market, a Vivienne Westwood t-shirt, a Child Of The Jago apron, socks from a hosiery shop on Neal Street and Vivienne Westwood shoes.
