During an afternoon at Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto’s exhibition in the Victoria and Albert museum I was treated to some stunning garments, not just in Yamamoto’s collection, but also on some rather well turned out museum visitors. Pace and his pal Hsiang let me have a quick snap of them outside the exhibition. I was particularly struck by Hsiang’s fantastic black and cream chunky platforms, ever so slightly reminiscent of morris dancing shoes.
Pace is wearing Kenzo shirt, Plus J jacket, All Saints boots and a hat he picked up in York.
Hsiang is wearing a vintage cotton dress, vintage hat and a necklace handmade by herself, not forgetting those brilliant shoes with her orange pop socks.
