[dropcap]W[/dropcap]hat a splendidly British Saturday at LFW. As well as the best of British designers on show; Stella McCartney, Aquascutum and Henry Holland to name a few; there was rain, there was shine and there was rain again; it was enough for one to have to stop for an Earl Grey and a Custard Cream. True English gent Richard E Grant and Dame Kelly Holmes were amongst the front row faces at Jasper Conran’s show. Of course the Brit’s coped marvellously with the bipolar weather, with extravagant hoods and brollies whipped out before any barnets could dare to flop.
